Southern Italy & Sicily
The Southern Italy bike tour begins and ends in Rome. Our tour starts with a drive down the Amalfi coast with a stop in Ercolano, a town at the foot of Vesuvius, perfectly preserved by the volcanic ash after the eruption two thousand years ago. After dinner, you will get to taste “Limoncello,” the local lemon flavored liquor (there is plenty of room in the van for the bottles we are sure you will buy). Our motorcycle tour will travel south along the beautiful coastline and then inland, eventually crossing the Strait of Messina to Sicily by ferry. The tour continues across Sicily where we will discover the flavors and charm of the island. From Palermo, Sicily’s main city, a night cruise will take us back to Rome where we will spend our last day of the tour seeing the sights of Rome with a local guide.
