Reggio Emilia Swap Meet and Italian museums
Reggio Emilia Swap Meet and Italian Museums is a motorcycle tour organized for those who want to enjoy the pleasure of riding vintage and classic bikes in Italy plus participating to one of the most enjoyable experiences for vintage bike lovers.
Reggio Emili mostra scambio, Swap meet in English, is one of the biggest in Italy and in Europe mainly for old and vintage motorcycles. Parts for Italian motorcycles can be found but also for pedal bikes, British motorcycles, cars, scooters.
The idea came up with an American friend, Benjamin Zinnen, who suggested to add a few days riding vintage motorcycles through the italian roads from Milan to Modena, enjoying the pleasure of the Appennini roads, visiting museums and collections ending in Reggio Emilia for the event.
In the Reggio Emilia swap meet and Italian museums you will ride a bunch of classic bikes from the 350 Morini to the Honda 500 and 400 Four to the BMW R 600 to the Benelli 654 or the Moto Guzzi Imola or a Yamaha 1200 plus some other very reliable bikes like Honda VFR or Ducati Monster that, if they are not tipically vintage are very enjoyable and easy to ride.
All motorcycles can be shared with other participants even not ridden every day if you do not feel to.
